What’s New?

This month we are thrilled to announce the release of our latest software and new features on our cloud service. New things for you to try include management and remote monitoring of your Living Optics Camera using the new Living Optics Cloud service dashboard. We have also been busy refactoring things internally to enable a whole bunch of releases over the coming weeks – so be sure to watch this space for updates!

Release highlights

Software Development Kit

Version 1.10.1 – recommended for all users

The Software Development Kit (SDK) bundles software tools for Living Optics Camera control, data acquisition and analysis. It also includes an Application Programmers Interface (API) enabling software developers to extend this functionality and build their own integrated solutions.

Planned product features

Enabling no-code users

We recognise that many of you are not “coders”. We will be unbundling software tools from our full SDK installation to make it simpler to use our software solutions for camera control, data acquisition and analysis. Developers will still get access to the full Application Programmers Interface experience via the SDK.

Living Optics Cloud Basic tier

Regular updates to software packages, documentation and sample data. In the next release we will provide data converters enabling use of existing Hyperspectral camera data in our tools and workflows.

Living Optics Cloud Premium tier – coming soon

The Living Optics Cloud Premium tier will leverage our AI machine learning toolsets to bring you the power of spectral information in your machine vision workflows.
