Measuring plant health in lab using Living Optics Camera

Plant stresses such as lack of water or over or under fertilization can manifest in subtle changes of coloration, or more precisely, a change in an object’s spectral reflectance properties. In extreme cases, this may be visible to the human eye, but by that time, it may be too late to remedy. Hyperspectral imaging offers quantitative plant health measurements.

The Living Optics Development Kit offers out-of-the-box visualization tools for you to construct index maps and look at plant health in real time.
